Due to the Covid-19 Virus, and in conjunction with the State of Emergency declared in the State of New Jersey,
The Bayonne Housing Authority offices are closed to the public.
If you have lost your job, been laid off, furloughed, have begun receiving unemployment, started working again or have any questions please call the BHA at (201) 339-8700.
Applications and status inquires will not be accepted or processed until further notice.

RENT MUST BE PAID BY A CHECK OR MONEY ORDER. NO CASH WILL BE ACCEPTED.
RENT WILL STILL BE EXPECTED BY THE 5TH WORKING DAY OF THE MONTH.
THE RENT OFFICES WILL NOT BE OPEN FOR IN-PERSON PAYMENT.

- In the next few months, we will be adding an Applicant Portal where you can check your status on our waiting lists; a Tenant Portal where you can check your account balance; and a Landlord Portal where Section 8 landlords can check their account balances.
- Additional new features will also include printable housing and HCV Section 8 applications that can be completed and scanned (or mailed) back to be added to the waiting list.
